Where to find viewed WhatsApp status media on your phone memory

Not long ago, WhatsApp was just a weird rumor that could only be confirmed by just a few people. I remember when I was still in high school someone mentioned it but everyone just seamed to know only of Facebook.

Due to my curiosity I made it the top priority of my to do list once half term began. Soon enough midterm break arrived, did my research and discovered only very of my classmates about 6 of them were WhatsApp users. But currently a few years down the line literally everyone is using WhatsApp.

The update on WhatsApp that changed the status from being text based to media based, despite the fact that it was highly opposed during its launch, has picked a lot of positive feedback. Currently over billions of photos and videos have been sent over WhatsApp status.

After viewing someone’s status the video or photo shared is temporarily stored in your phone memory For 24 hours before it disappears. So it’s not necessary to ask the owner of the video/photo to resend their status to you, that’s in case you loved it, unless it longer the 30 seconds limit. Here how to get it:

  • Go to Device storage
  • Then click on WhatsApp folder
  • Then Media
  • Finally click on .Statuses, that where all the status are located on the phone Memory.
